Life Coaching for Spiritual Leaders and Ministry Teams

How can our organization be successful during times of change?
What will help us continue to produce results that are in alignment with our mission and vision? How can we keep a vital and fresh sense of possibility and promise? How might we empower those around us to develop, such that our church thrives, no matter what?

Church leadership is a special calling that requires passion, knowledge and curiosity. If you are looking for ways to make positive and uplifting changes in your church that are in alignment with your church’s mission and vision, I invite you to consider coaching. My name is Kris Thaller and I serve as the Organizational Coach at Christ Unity Church in Lincoln, Nebraska. I have also served as a Board of Trustee for six years, three as the Board President. I offer a unique blend of coaching skills as well as leadership training. I support my clients to clarify what has value and meaning for them. Once that has been discerned, the organization can then focus their resources precisely where it is needed to make the necessary changes. What I’ve seen is that all leaders have dreams, ideas and vision that want to be expressed and as your Coach, it’s my privilege to provide you with tools and skills to bring that vision into reality.

I use an ontological/spiritual coaching model created by Dr. Maria Nemeth, founder of the Academy For Coaching Excellence. Ontology is one of the four branches of metaphysics. It is the study of Being. It assumes that everyone has a longing to be of service, they have a contribution to make and want to know that they make a difference. It also assumes people want to discover who they are and what their natural strengths and virtues are, that there is an essence inside them that has come here to have some important learning – to give and get something- from life. Dr. Nemeth states, “Being is the Hero, the aspect of us that’s unaffected by circumstances, that endures. It has to do with who you are in your heart and what you’re here to contribute. Its questions are about your Hero’s journey: What am I here to contribute, how best to make that contribution, what is my lesson, what is my next authentic action, am I letting others support me?”

I am passionate about empowering spiritual leaders through coaching, leadership training and consulting. What might the difference be for your church?
